Virginia Beach KOA Holiday

Virginia Beach, Virginia

A One-Night Teaser That Left Us Wanting More.  Take us back to the Virginia Beach KOA, because we are already missing camp life.  Our stay this past Labor Day was short, way too short but packed with so many good vibes that we’re still talking about it.

We stopped for just one night on our way to the OBX, and honestly… one night was nowhere near enough. From our patio site to the upbeat, tropical atmosphere, this campground reminded us of staying in the Keys. It felt like the fun never stopped! One of the biggest perks? The location. The campground sits less than 2.5 miles from Virginia Beach, and the local trolley picks up right in the middle of the campground—major bonus points for convenience.

But let’s talk amenities, because this place delivers: Two heated pools, A lazy river, Two bounce pads A huge jet-shaped playground (such a cool touch!) Dog park and zipline park that we unfortunately didn’t have time to try, there were also multiple large hammocks and lawn games

The energy here was incredible. They had live music, food trucks, and even a farmers' market during our stay. We didn’t cook at all because we didn’t need to; the food truck options were great, and the band made the entire night feel like a mini vacation of its own.

Mrs. WanderB is already asking to go back, and honestly? Same. This campground deserves a full weekend (or more) because one night just isn’t enough. Virginia Beach KOA definitely earned its spot on our “must return” list.

Until next time, VB KOA—thanks for the memories
