Sea Swell Meguinticook - Rockport, Maine

There is nothing better than rolling up to a campground and smelling that sweet ocean air! With a nice mix of modern amenities with just a touch of vintage summer camp vibes Sea Swell Campground located in Meguinticook Maine was just what we needed . To our surprise most of the sites were wooded and shady. We stayed in site 63 it had the best stone fire pit . Each site was unique, and the size and width of each site varied. The sites are a 60/40 mix full hookups and water/electric only sites. The campground has adorable check in area/ store complete with ice cold beer from Flight Deck Brewing. Campground staff was happy to share information on things to do and where to eat. The grounds, pool and playground were all neatly kept, but by far our favorite part of this campground was the ocean overlook. Just a short walk from our campsite we spent every night taking in ocean views we watched porpoises, seals, schools of fish and loons. This overlook has picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and a porch swing. Bring snacks, your favorite beverage and soak it all in.
